Why We Built This Site
Michigan court records are public only through the rules and procedures that apply to the court holding the file. A register of actions is the running list of filings, parties, settings, and rulings. In Bay County, Katie Zanotti’s office serves as County Clerk and Clerk of the 18th Circuit Court, while the 74th District Court and Probate Court maintain their own records functions. The county’s case and calendar tools can locate a matter; the court of record remains the source for a complete file or certified copy.
What You Will Find Here

- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to a Michigan court, clerk, or state agency. There are real limits to what it can do:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the court of record can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. The resource can identify the right office, but the document must come from that court.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes operated by third-party providers. Those providers run their own services and set their own terms or prices. A provider may compensate the site when a visitor completes a paid signup. Neither the results nor the availability of those tools are controlled by this resource, and court information should always be checked with the originating court.
